In India you will find tutti frutti cake in every other grocery stores and local bakeries. Crumbly soft and really delicious! However I always find the store bought cakes extremely sweet. Which is why I prefer to just whisk it up and bake at home.

Where to find Tutti Frutti ?
Most Indian stores with carry small 7 oz containers. Just ask if you can’t locate. It is also quite easy to make at home, if you can manage to find the time to chop the raw papaya. Here is a link that might help. The colorful studs in between makes it quite appealing to the kids. As a kid I remember occasionally I would pick those fruits from the cake slice making a horrible mess in the process. Yesterday I saw Avyan doing the same. He however called it gummy LOL!
How to prepare Tutti Frutti Cake ?
It’s an easy one-bowl cake batter:
KEY NOTE: It’s extremely important to coat the candied fruits in flour or else it will sink at the bottom of the pan.
PRO TIP: If the cake batter feels too thick, add little milk to loosen it up.
