Flax And Oats Wheat Bread
I have been waiting to share this post with you guys for two main reasons! First, I finally found my go-to bread recipe, Flax and Oats Wheat Bread. Second, I am sharing my first food video. Yay! We are carb lovers. We try to cut down as much as possible but we cannot avoid it entirely. So, to maintain a balance, we look for healthy options. Like trying to avoid white flour as much possible. Few years back, we had bought a ginormous one and loved the idea of fresh bread every other morning. Just pour everything in the machine and let it do everything. As easy and convenient as it sounds, the idea of looking for a space to store yet another kitchen gadget is a nightmare for me.
I decided to just bake breads more often and try to make it healthy. So, in went flax, oats, whole wheat and a little bit of all-purpose flour too. If you have a stand mixer to prepare the dough and a little bit of patience, baking bread regularly without a bread machine is equally easy and convenient.
Since the entire activity of baking bread is effortless, I decided to try making a video. Well, that was stressful, especially when you try to do it on your own using a tripod. I am not much of a tripod user. I like to move around and have more control. For the past two years, Arvind and I tried making a few food videos but none came out good enough to share. We had to cook, style and shoot while Avyan was napping. There was just not enough time! Now that Avyan started school and I get the house to myself on weekdays, I decided to give it a go.

I am not absolutely happy with the video but I still like it enough to share with you guys. Editing videos, especially fixing those exposure and contrast etc. is still a challenge. I am still learning. So, if you have any advice, tips, tricks or useful links, please do share.
